
SUN partners with community organizations, local governments, and workforce boards to provide clean energy training and apprenticeship opportunities. Our courses cover workforce readiness, OSHA certification, energy auditing, solar, storage, and EV installation, equipping students with valuable credentials for safe and future employment. At program completion, SUN and our partners support students with job placement and career guidance.

Our training in Georgetown, SC, graduated 14 students. Thank you to The Gullah Geechee Chamber Foundation, 7 Dimensions Outreach & The Village Group for the work they have done to pull their community together behind this project. By bringing the students into the trainings, our partners offer members of their communities a pathway to good-paying renewable energy jobs.
